Last night, we attended the Apricot Lane: Give Sparkle Holiday Party and it was fabulous! The event was hosted by San Antonio Bloggers, Tori Foster-Johnson, San Antonio Fashion Awards winner for Fashion Blogger of the Year for Apricot Lane: Give Sparkle Holiday Party and it was fabulous! The event was hosted by San Antonio Bloggers, Tori Foster-Johnson, San Antonio Fashion Awards winner for Fashion Blogger of the Year for The sTORIbook and Aquila Mendez-Valdez, San Antonio Fashion Awards Nominee for Haute in Texas. The party was packed with fabulous bloggers and shoppers, who all enjoyed delicious cupcakes provided by 
Sweet Josephine’s and raspberry filled glasses of pink champagne. As soon as we walked through the entrance, it was the warmest welcome with smiles and festive music. To the right we spotted the Eye Makeup Bar provided by the very talented and gorgeous Olivia Villa, Make-up Artist behind Liv Beautified. She racked up quite the line of ladies ready to receive their holiday eye makeup, which totally inspired looks for all types of holiday parties. The event also featured a nail bar provided by Mood Nail Salon, where guests received Holiday manicures, adorable sparkly accent nails and their skin nourishing organic hand scrub available for purchase.
The boutique offered a 20% discount off all purchases made during the party, giving us tons of options to shop for ourselves and for gifts as well. As the theme of the party was Give Sparkle, the boutique had tons of sparkly skirts, dresses, tops, jackets and jewelry in stock for all Holiday parties or just sashaying your way around the town. We love a good day-to-night glitter look! Just ask our #GirlBoss, Burg!
The party was packed, fun and a great shopping experience (gotta love a great sale!). I’d say the most fun was at the photobooth! With a glittery gold backdrop and festive props to choose from, guests had a blast making silly poses for the fun photo op. Fellow bloggers, 
Sarah Dressler of Dressed by Dressler and Michelle Cantu of A Thrifty Diva were in attendance, having a great time posing for the booth as well. Aquila and Tori outdid themselves, making sure that all the guests felt special. They really are remarkable women of many talents, but most important, of good hearts. We love to support everything they do, and of course, always showing love for our local Fashion Community.
