If you didn’t already know, Mother’s Day is this weekend! Don’t freak out, it kind of caught us off guard too. Luckily, we’ve  partnered up with Apricot Lane to bring you a twist to your traditionalMother’s Day gift. Mother/daughter shopping outings can be tough. How many times have you gone shopping with your mom only to find yourself sitting in the plush chairs of Ann Taylor scrolling through Facebook until your mom is done looking around? Whether you’ve personally experienced an “Ann Taylor” sit down or have an experience of your own, you get what we mean. It’s not always easy to agree with mom when it comes to deciding on a shopping destination...until now!

Lindsey’s mom, Nancy, is an English teacher at Grandview Preparatory School in Boca Raton, so she was looking for an outfit that she could wear to school without compromising her sense of style. She may or may not have a reputation for having a little bit of a shoe obsession.

Lilly’s stepmom, Lisa, is a former ER Nurse with years stuck in scrubs and only time to make up for it. She and Lilly had a blast putting looks together and experimenting with Lisa’s #SceneMom style status. We both had a little too many laughs telling our moms what to wear. Not only was it a funmother/daughter afternoon, but we were able to give them a glimpse into our world at LLScene. They’re so supportive of us, so we were honored to share this opportunity with them.
